Rodney Brooks
(호주 로봇공학자, 1954~)
호주 출신의 로봇학자이며 저술가이고 로봇 사업가이며 로봇 대중화에 가장 활동적인 인물이다. 호주에서 순수 수학을 전공하였으며 Stanford에서 컴퓨터과학으로 박사를 받았다. MIT에서 로봇학과 교수를 지냈으며 MIT AI Lab 의 책임자를 역임했다. iRobot 회사를 설립하였으며 지금은 Rethink Robotics 의 책임자로 있다.
